youtube information

Because the goal of this video contest is  to promote the Feather River region and foster economic development through awareness and tourism, here are some tips that will help your video get out to a wider audience. When you fill out your contest entry form, you agree that you have filled out the following information for your video on YouTube:
Title
Pick something that summarizes or describes your video. Titles are recommended to be 66 characters or less to help with search engine optimization. If you're interested in learning more about YouTube titles, check out this blog post.

Description
A description is limited to 1,000 words. You should elaborate on your video content and be as detailed as possible.

Tags
Tags are like keywords that describe your video and help it come up in internet searches. They should be as detailed as possible but make sure that they are consistent with each other, match the title and relate to the content. A location should be included (in videos submitted to the Feather River Video Contest's case that might be Quincy, Plumas County, Spanish Creek, Feather River Canyon...any or all of these). An example of tags for a surfing video might be: surfing, longboard, Santa Cruz, epic wave, etc. Separate your tags with a comma. Don't be shy with your tags - the more the merrier!

Category
Most likely your category will be Travel & Events.

Privacy
Make sure that your video is marked as public so that we can see it!

Map Location
Enter in the general location of the video for the map.
